This 1950s inspired day dress is self drafted with a tie at the shoulder and a side zipper. It is made with floral cotton voile and fully lined in medium weight cotton to give the bodice structure and the skirt some shape. All the seams are finished with two rows of stitching and pinked in the way they would have in the time before sergers were used domestically.
